Under the Service types tab you can, per language, register one or several own service types with number and name. These must in turn be based on one of the four fixed basic types Installation, Warranty, Planned service or Urgent service.
The numbers 1-99 are reserved for fixed basic types. The numbers from 100 and up are used for own service types.
By using own service types, you can customize service types with different default activities, service technicians and costs to better suit your own business. The own service types will be selectable, just as the basic types, in the Register Service Order procedure.
You can also check the box Default type for one of the service types. This way the service type will be selected by default when registering a new service order.
