The Heading Row

On the heading row you first select a customer for which you want to create a new service order or an order number to load an existing service order.

When you open this procedure, the cursor is automatically positioned in the Customer field. After entering a customer code (or an order number) on the heading row, all information about the customer or service order will be loaded and displayed under the Main tab. Under the Rows tab you will see the order rows on an existing order. You can enter a serial number for the service object in the Serial number field.

To the right of the customer field, you will see a speech bubble if a message has been registered for the customer in the Update Customer procedure. The message will open when you enter the customer code. However, you can also open the message by clicking on the speech bubble.

By using the Info Menu which you access by right-clicking you can link to the Update Customer procedure for the selected customer on the service order. You can then make changes regarding that customer. If you have entered a serial number in the Serial number, you can link to the Update Product Register procedure. In this procedure you can make changes for the serial number.
