During material clearance, the system first checks which orders or order rows that can be delivery reported of the ones in the list selected in the Create tab. For the orders or order rows that can be delivery reported, you can clear the balance for the incorporated parts. These will then be booked for that particular order, and deducted from the available balance.
If several operators are involved in delivery reporting and picking, it may be useful to first clear the parts that are included in the order. Since the cleared parts are no longer included in the available balance, you thereby avoid exceeding the current available balance for picking.
Clearance
By selecting this option you order clearance of the assortment and by Display List you activate the clearance tab which displays all order rows according to the selection. If an available balance exists, rows are suggested to be booked. When saving, the clearance will be saved on the selected parts.
Only Shortage Parts
If this alternative is selected the clearance list will display the selected rows (that is, also earlier cleared rows and not cleared rows that are possible to clear). The list contains the parts that will get a shortage if all these rows are cleared. If you have a long clearance list, it may be convenient to only view the parts where the available balance is not sufficient to cover the quantity of parts that you need to clear. In combination with shortage analysis you can also see additional information of parts that have been ordered but that are not yet available under the Cause of shortage tab.
Save Clearance Upon Printing
This alternative is available if you have activated the setting Print Pick List will generate order status "Delivery note printed"?, under Orders / Quotes under the Sales tab in the Settings procedure. Then it is possible to mark all printed parts as cleared. If you choose to only show rows that are not cleared in the pick list, only one order row will be printed on the pick list. If you check this alternative, a part in the list will be configured as "booked". This will be saved when you print the list. If someone creates a clearance list later on that includes this part, it will be shown as "booked".
