All shipping documents in MONITOR (except SIS Waybill, CRM Waybill and EDI) are printed on label printers.
Label printers used in MONITOR should have 1 MB flash memory, a resolution of 203 dpi and should manage ZPL language. The label (STE) should be 251x107 mm. You will find information about tested label printers on our website http://www.monitorerp.com/products/monitorerp/systemrecommendations/
In this procedure a 
control panel exists, where you can print layouts and configurations and also program the printers memory (PROM) with the layout of the STE-labels. You open the control panel via the Zebra control panel button under the Window functions or via the File menu. Below the different sections in the Zebra control panel are described.

Here you see the Port settings that are loaded from the printer that has been selected in the Ship.label field for the current user in the Users procedure in the Global Settings procedure. The printer driver first has to be installed in Windows and then configured in the Printers procedure in MONITOR.
Which Type that is selected is decided by the global setting Type of shipping document printer, under the Shipping heading under the Sales tab in the Settings procedure.
Zebra Stripe 500
In this section you will only find functions for the older printer Zebra S500. Here you can program the printer for the STE-labels (if it has extra memory installed). With the Transfer format button you program the printer's PROM with information regarding these STE-labels. (This information comes in different files in MONITOR.) After you program the printer, it is configured to print shipping documents.
With the Built-in layout (E, R, Z) list button you can print the layouts from the different units in the printer.
Zebra LP2844-Z / DA402 / S600 / Z4Mplus
In this section you will find functions for other label printers. With the Transfer format button you program the printer's PROM with information regarding the STE-labels. (This information comes in different files in MONITOR.) After you program the printer, it is configured to print shipping documents.
With the Print SoftProm button you can print the information in the printer's other memory chip (SoftProm).
With the Built-in layout (E, R, Z) list button you can print the layouts from the different units in the printer.
Please note, that in addition to the label printers mentioned in the section heading, there are more and newer label printers that can be used.
Zebra Printer
By using the button Print Printer Configuration you can print the printer configuration (the printout is made on a label from the Zebra-printer).
Please Note! If a printer has been programmed with the Transfer format button and is then turned off, you have to re-program it with the same button when you restart it!.
