This alternative is only available if you have installed the supplement EDI Export of Purchase Orders. Read more about the EDI supplement in the MONITOR Supplements chapter in the MONITOR Basics.
When printouts are approved, data from the printed purchase orders is saved to an Edifact message (ORDERS) in the EDI Data table. After that, when you run MEDI, the message is exported to the export file. MEDI can be run automatically in connection with printout approval, or it can be used manually or pre-scheduled.
