The heading row is where you select a part in the Part number field. If you enter an existing part, the system will load the information for that part from the database. The heading also shows and lets you enter a Part name and Part type.
If you enter a new part number, the text "------- New part -------" will appear in the Name field. The default part type for a new part is Purchased (P).
