General Information about Forecast List

You will find a general description of how to manage lists in MONITOR in the chapter Managing Lists in the System under General in the MONITOR Basics guide.

What Does This Procedure Do?

In this procedure you can print a list of manufacturing and sales forecast rows. You can select forecasts for certain part types, as well as which type of forecast you want to include in the list. You can also select inactive forecasts.

It also allows you to select different price alternatives for the parts in all the forecasts, in order to convert the forecasts into actual currency amounts. This is very convenient when you wish to analyze the expected turnover for sales forecasts versus the budgeted sales, or actual sales for previous years. Please note that currency will not be included in the lists.

Under the Create tab you make classifications and selections for the list. You can select different list types containing different information regarding the parts. The different list types are described under Printout Samples.

What Update Options Exist for this Procedure?

The Forecast List procedure is where you maintain the manufacturing and sales forecasts you have saved. This is also where you delete all forecast rows that have become obsolete (whose dates are in past time), or reschedule all the old rows to the future, if you prefer to keep them. This will generate a new date for these rows.

If you select the list type Standard, you can also manually change the Quantity and Period for these forecast rows.

Can Any Charts Be Displayed?

If you select the list type Only total, you can also view the forecasts in chart form.
