The chart of accounts structure is displayed in the lower left part of the window. It is updated when you click the Execute selection button. When budgeting at sub-levels, a structure of the chart of accounts and its underlying cost centers or cost units are displayed. In order to reach the sub-levels you click on the plus sign or use the right arrow button on the keyboard. If a specific cost center has been entered in the Search Form, only this cost center is shown when the sub-level is displayed.
Only accounts that are possible to budget are shown. If a selection of accounts has been entered in the Search Form, only these accounts are displayed.
To register a budget you have to select the account, cost center or cost unit and press Enter. The Budget Info dialog box appears on the screen. Here you enter Budget value, Budget quantity and Budget chart for the budget that is to be registered. The dialog box also appears if you click on the requested account, cost center or cost unit, and drag it by holding down the left mouse button, to the right part of the window, Budget values.
