Type

The Type field determines and defines the procedures that are affected by this code and where the codes should be available for selection. Select where you want the reject code to be available for selection according to one of the choices in the field. For the nonconformities, the reject code and reject reason are separated. The following types exist:

• All - The code is available in all affected procedures.
• Manufacturing Reporting
• Receiving InspectionPurchase
• Nonconformity Management
• Customer Nonconformity
• Supplier Nonconformity
• Internal Nonconformity
• Preventive Action

Please note that the Register Nonconformity procedure in the Inventory module can manage all types of codes.
