General Information about Customer / Supplier Status

Why Use This Procedure?

The customer/supplier status is used to define the customer/supplier status codes that will be available. The status is used to describe which type of contact the customer/supplier currently is. Is it an actual customer/supplier (for which you can register orders), or is it just a contact at fair, etc.

You can update customer status under the CRM tab in the Update Customer and Customer Info procedures in the Sales module. You can update supplier status under the SRM tab in the Update Supplier and Supplier Info procedures in the Purchase module.

In this procedure you will find a tab called Customer Status where you can enter customer status rows, with code and name. You will also find a tab called Supplier Status where you can register supplier status rows, with code and name.

You can enter a maximum of 8 rows in the table, using the status codes 2-9. Each customer/supplier status will be assigned a code that is equal to the row number in the table. You cannot modify or delete the first status row in the table (status 1 = Actual customer/supplier). You can only modify or delete the status rows 2-9.
