E-mail Settings Regarding MONITOR-to-MONITOR

It is possible to enter an e-mail address for customer and supplier references. This address will then be entered by default in the e-mail address field when this reference is selected on quotes, customer orders, invoices and purchase orders.

In the Register Customer Order there are two fields where you can enter the e-mail address, one for the recipient of the order confirmation and one for the recipient of the dispatch advice. The e-mail address to the invoice recipient is only shown as information. This address cannot be changed on a separate order.

E-mail addresses on a customer order.

The default e-mail address for both order confirmation and dispatch advice is normally the reference address entered on the order. You can also enter defined e-mail addresses as recipients of order confirmations and dispatch advices for the customer in the Update Customer procedure. If so, this e-mail address will be selected by default instead.

Defined e-mail address recipients of order confirmation and dispatch advice.

The same applies to suppliers for which you can enter defined recipients of order confirmation reminders and delivery reminders in the Update Supplier procedure.

Defined e-mail address recipients of reminders.

If you have not entered an e-mail address for the reference, then the first e-mail address for the customer/supplier will be suggested on the order. (No address that is defined as recipient of order confirmation/advising/invoice for the customer or order confirmation reminder/delivery reminder/delivery schedule for the supplier will be used.)

In e-mail messages in which an XML file is attached you will find a standard message that explains how the XML file shall be used, that is, to use the drag and drop function to perform the registration. You can edit and translate the standard message according to your needs in the Languages procedure on the rows 590-591.

In the Form Additional Text procedure you can add tags to the additional text in e-mail messages. The tags are used as variables for different information about each reference. This is useful to be able to create a variable signature including personal information about our reference in the e-mail message when e-mailing each respective form. The available variables are:

<ref>

Name

<tel>

Phone number

<mob>

Mobile phone number

<mail>

E-mail address

<fax>

Fax number

<dat>

Today's date

<sig>
