Basic CRM and SRM Settings
In this chapter different basic settings for using CRM and SRM in MONITOR are described. Before you can start using the function, you must configure a number of basic settings in certain procedures.
Settings for CRM and SRM
- You have to update the under Tables in the Global Settings procedure. (There is also a tab for suppliers.)
- You have to update the under Tables in the Global Settings procedure. (There is also a tab for suppliers.)
- You can create activity lists to facilitate the activity management in the Activities procedure under Tables in the Global Settings module.
- You have to update the setting Calendar program for integrated activities, under Fax / E-mail under the System tab in the Settings procedure, in order to configure which e-mail/calendar system to use (1 = Lotus Notes or 2 = Outlook).
- You have to update the setting Note in customer log during e-mail from Update Customer/Customer Info?, under CRM - Customer Relationship Management under the Sales tab in the Settings procedure, depending on if a customer log should be created automatically with opportunity to make comments/notes when e-mails are sent from MONITOR to a customer.
- You have to update the setting Use Outlook integration when e-mailing from Update Customer/Customer Info, under the same heading as mentioned above, depending on how the integration should be handled by MONITOR.
- You have to update the setting Note in supplier log when e-mailing from Update Suppl/Suppl. Info?, under the SRM - Supplier Relationship Management heading under the Purchase tab in the Settings procedure, depending on if a supplier log should be created automatically with opportunity to make comments/notes when e-mails are sent from MONITOR to a supplier.
- You have to update the setting Use Outlook integration when e-mailing from Update Supplier/Supplier Info, under the same heading as mentioned above, depending on how the integration should be handled by MONITOR.
- In order to display reminders about customer or supplier activities, you have to activate this via the Reminder button in the Users procedure in the Global Settings.
