Seasonal Fluctuation
Check this alternative if you want the annual budget calculation for parts to consider seasonal fluctuations. There are three selections:
- None / Even - (default) if you select this alternative, no seasonal fluctuation will be applied. The budget will be allocated evenly throughout the year.
- Selected Budget Chart - if you select this alternative, you can select seasonal fluctuation based on the budget charts that are registered in the Register Budget Chart procedure in the Accounting module. Select the applicable budget chart for the selected range of parts, as well as to which period the calculation applies. For each month, there is a percentage value (%) in the budget curve. 100% / 12 = 8.33, which means that the annual budget value will be calculated up if the month has a value higher than 8.33 and vice versa.
- Part's Budget Chart - if you select this alternative, the seasonal fluctuation will be loaded from the part's saved budget. Here you select the month to which the calculation applies.
Formula 2 in the Planning Formulas procedure is used for seasonal fluctuation.
