General Information about Sales Statistics - Configuration

You will find a general description of how to manage lists in MONITOR in the chapter Managing Lists in the System under General in the MONITOR Basics guide.

What Does This Procedure Do?

Here you can print sales statistics for parts that are included in a configuration. This sales statistics can also be saved to the parts' annual budgets for forecast-driven manufacturing when using the Stock Refill System (SRS) in MONITOR.

Under the Create tab you make classifications and selections for the list. By selecting different alternatives under the List section, different information will be shown in the list. You can also select a price alternative under the Compare price heading in order to calculate the contribution margin (CM) against the invoiced value.

The different list types are described under Printout Samples.

What are Statistics?

In MONITOR, sales statistics are created in the Invoicing Log during invoicing. All the sales statistics are then calculated from the Invoicing Log.

The equivalent purchase statistics can be created either during arrival reporting, or when registering supplier invoices when you link arrived orders to a supplier invoice. Purchase statistics are created in the supplier invoice log.

What Update Options Exist for this Procedure?

If you have selected the list type Save annual budget, you can save the sales statistics to the parts' annual budgets.

Can Any Charts be Displayed?

Under the Display List tab, you can view a chart of the list if you have selected the list type Total.
