Inventory Value List - Configuration

You will find a general description of Managing Lists in the System in the chapter MONITOR General Information in the MONITOR Basics.

What Does This Procedure Do?

Under the Create tab, you can print lists for inventory valuation of parts included in a configuration. For parts not linked to a configuration, the inventory valuation is made in the Inventory Value List.

The valuation of the parts is based on the standard price on the customer order row for which the current stock balance is intended. In other words, the inventory valuation requires that the manufacturing order is created directly from a customer order and placed on an own location.

If you have configured the setting Calculation on quote/customer order row?, under the System tab in the Settings procedure, the list can be distributed into material, subcontracting and processing costs.

A configurable part should have Traceability set in order for the requirements planning and inventory valuation to work.

See samples of what the printouts look like under Printout samples.
