General Information about Translate Selection Group

Why Use This Procedure?

Here you can translate the name of a selection group. The selection group can be general, that is a selection group registered in the Update Selection Group procedure, or it can just be included in a certain configuration group (missing selection group code).

The translation is made so that customer orders can contain the part name translated into the language selected for the order. The selection group names are used in the configuration description printed on the order.

The Translate Selection Group window shows the selection group name in the company language, such as Swedish, English etc. The name of the selection group has been created in your company language. You translate these names from your company language into other languages.

You can translate names in this separate procedure or in the Translation list in the Selection Group List procedure.

Managing Languages in the System

You can update the different languages that you want your system to manage in the Languages procedure in the Global Settings module. Please see the Help Function for that procedure to get a description of how the system manages external languages.
