You will find a general description of Managing Lists in the System in the chapter MONITOR General Information in the MONITOR Basics.
What Does This Procedure Do?
Under the Create tab you can load and print different lists for tools that will be calibrated (or adjusted). Only the tool types Measuring tool and Special tool are affected by these lists.
In the Standard list, you can automatically generate purchase orders for calibration of the tools. In most cases, tools are calibrated by a company that specializes in tool calibration.
A calibration basis that is created in the standard list can be based on either the next calibration date or the number of cycles. By default, the basis is based on the next calibration date (up to today’s date) for all approved tools. If the basis should be based on the number of cycles, you must leave the Calibration date empty and select Check against cycles instead.
You can see a breakdown for the year, with the tools shown as a total per month. One list shows the tools per month in detail (Total/month detailed). The other list just shows the tools per month (Total/month). These lists are handy if you want to view and modify the next calibration date for a tool, so that the calibration points are divided evenly throughout the year.
See printout samples for further description of the different lists .
Calibration Reporting
In the Calibration reporting list, you can report calibration and link calibration protocols as well as update tool comments.
Please note. If there are calibration points on the tools that are going to be reported, you should not use this list. You should then use the Calibration Reporting procedure.
What Update Options Exist for this Procedure?
The Standard and Calibration reporting lists can be used to update different calibration information.
Can Any Charts Be Displayed?
In the Total / month list you can see a breakdown for the year in chart form, with the number of calibrated tools shown as a total per month.
