The Info Menu under the Adjust Tab
This section describes the specific alternatives that can be found in the Info menu when adjusting attendance and adjusting work in the respective tables under the Adjust tab.
Alternatives when Adjusting Attendance
- Go to Day... - If you select this alternative, a small calendar will open where you can quickly enter or select another date to go to in the calendar for example a date in another month.
- Authorize employee - If you select this alternative you can authorize an employee directly for example after an adjustment, without having to go to the Calendar tab and make the authorization there.
- Insert attendance/absence/work... - If you select this alternative, you can add recording items of the types Attendance, Absence, Lunch or Addition in the adjust attendance table. You can also add work recordings to the selected day. You can add work recording items of the type Order-bound work, Indirect work and Not order-bound work in the adjust work table.
Additions are used in order to account for e.g. travel time, allowance and other factors that wages are based on in MONITOR. These additions are defined in the Codes procedure. It is possible to link also additions such as costs to projects and in that case you can also use a cost type in order to include this in the project accounting. When an addition is used, a fictitious recording becomes created with the time "23.59 - 23.59" and to this recording salary types, quantities, project information and costs will be linked. To adjust already entered additions you should use the function Extended adjustment which is also found under the Info menu.
- Delete recording - If you select this alternative, you can delete the selected recording.
- Calculate day - If you select this alternative, you can calculate the calendar day in order to see the effects of the entered adjustments before saving. This way you can minimize the number of log items in the Adjustment log.
- Show salary types/Extended adjustment... - If you select this alternative, a window will open where you can use the extended adjustment and select different salary types for different times.
- Show schedule... - If you select this alternative, a small window appears where you will see a graphic image of the employee's schedule.
- Show adjustment log... - If you select this alternative, the Adjustment log will open in a small window.
- Send message... - Here you can send a message to the employee whose recording is being authorized/adjusted.
Alternatives when Adjusting Work
- Add work to batch... - Here you can add a work recording to a report number for batch recording.
- Delete recording - If you select this alternative, you can delete the selected work recording.
- Calculate day - If you select this alternative, you can calculate the calendar day in order to see the effects of the entered adjustments before saving. This way you can minimize the number of log items in the Adjustment log.
