Conditions during Recording According to Schedule
The following conditions apply for time reporting when recording according to schedule:
- Overtime is recorded until the regular working hours starts, and from when the regular working hours ends.
- If you should be allowed to record overtime as a flex time and overtime combination, this must be determined in the Update Employee procedure.
- If you should be allowed to record overtime within the flex zone, this must be determined in the Update Employee procedure.
- If the setting Calculate overtime is set to After fulfilled daily hours, in the Group Settings or in the Update Employees procedures, you can not record overtime until you have fulfilled your daily hours. The option All recorded overtime will instead register all recorded time outside of the schedule as overtime. Please see the Help Function for the Authorize / Adjust Recording procedure for further explanation.
- If the clock-in/out takes place within the "core time", the absence at the start or end of the day will be registered from the start of the regular working hours or to the end of the regular working hours.
- Absence during an entire day will not affect the flex balance, unless the absence is linked to the absence code Flex Withdrawal.
- Absence can not be registered within the negative flex zone evening.
- The flex balance is updated automatically, by regular clock-in or clock-out recordings within flex zones. Please note that this only applies for one (1) clock-in within the flex zone morning, and for one (1) clock-out within flex zone evening.
- Time exceeding the maximum allowed flex balance will not be registered, time beneath the minimum allowed flex balance will be registered as absence and linked to a default absence code set in the Group Settings procedure.
- Flex time and overtime will not affect each other regarding "Fulfilled daily hours". You can not receive overtime after fulfilled daily hours and up to the schedule end during early arrival within the flex zone. You can however receive overtime after the schedule end, in spite of late arrival within the flex zone. Recording within the flex zone is counted as recording during regular schedule start/end, where the flex balance absorbs possible deviations.
