General Information about Rejection List

You will find a general description of Managing Lists in the System in the chapter MONITOR General Information in the MONITOR Basics.

What Does This Procedure Do?

In this procedure you can print lists containing costs of all rejects reported in the Operation Reporting, Material Reporting, Comprehensive Reporting and Arrival Reporting - Subcontract procedures in the Manufacturing module and in the Recording Terminal procedure in the Workshop Info module. You can also print lists for material withdrawal purposes.

Under the Create tab, you can select the list by Reject code, Date, Part number, Product group, Part category, Project, Order number, Work center and Department. You can classify the list by Reject code, Date, Part number or Work center.

When classifying by Date you can view rejects over time. When you classify by date, several "total" list types are added. These lists can also be viewed in chart form. The different list types determine how much information will be shown in the rejection list. Read more about the different list types under Printout samples.

By using the setting Material withdrawal, you will be able to see which material withdrawals for manufacturing orders contain rejection reports. This setting also has a different Search Form. The Date, Part code, Part category, Product group, Work center, Department and Customer code are not shown. However, the Period alternative is added instead.

How Are Rejection Costs Calculated?

The rejection costs are taken from the part register. There are two cost calculation alternatives two choose from; Allocate according to standard price and Allocate per operation. Read more about this under Alternate cost calculation.

What Update Options Exist for this Procedure?

There are no update options in the Rejection List, as the information is taken from statistics.

Can Any Charts Be Displayed?

Under the Display List tab you can view the list in chart form, if you have selected a “total” list type.
