Shipping

Under Shipping you can see the GAN/Customer number for the shipping agent selected under Delivery method. You will also see information about the freight payer.

Dispatch Advice

By using the Dispatch advice... button you can enter a Delivery instruction that can be included when printing shipping documents, if the source of info is Customer order / delivery (Provided that the setting Load as delivery instructions on shipping documents has been set to Delivery instruction, under Shipping under the Sales tab in the Settings procedure.)

Here you can also enter a telephone number to the goods receiver in the Advice via shipping agent to goods receiver's phone field. This number can be used by the shipping agent in order to phone when goods will be delivered. The phone number will be included when printing shipping documents, if the source of info is Customer order / delivery or Delivery note.

Here you can also enter a mobile phone number to the goods receiver in the Advice via shipping agent to goods receiver's mobile/SMS field. This number can be used by the shipping agent in order to phone or send an SMS when goods will be delivered. The mobile phone number will be included when printing shipping documents, if the source of info is Customer order / delivery or Delivery note.

You can also enter an e-mail address to the goods receiver in the Advice via shipping agent to goods receiver's e-mail field. This e-mail address can be used by the shipping agent in order to e-mail when goods will be delivered. The e-mail address will be included when printing shipping documents, if the source of info is Customer order / delivery or Delivery note.

If information exists in any of these four fields, this will be indicated by a "pound symbol" (#) on the Dispatch advice button.
