General Information about Print EDI Transport Labels

What Does This Procedure Do?

In this procedure you print transport labels for delivered goods or packaging which are managed in the procedures Package Management or Print Pick Lists when using one of the EDI list types.

The EDI transport label is in A5 format. There are two different transport label formats: Transport label A4 and Transport label A5. The first selection prints two transport labels on an A4 page. The second selection prints one transport label on an A5 or A4 page.

For packaging parts with inner packaging selected as Yes, KLT Package (Small Load Carrier), a KLT label will also be printed per inner packaging included in the delivered goods for which a transport label will be printed per pallet. The EDI transport label is 210x74 mm.

You can define a default printer per user for this procedure in the Users procedure. In the Special 2 field you can enter the default printer that will be used when printing transport labels. The printout is made according to the printer's paper orientation setting (Portrait / Landscape).

The setting Dock/storage format on EDI transport label, under the button Extra Info in the Update Customer procedure, determines how the dock/storage will be displayed on the transport label.

Please note that customer links are required on the parts that are printed in order to see a result. The empty inner packaging type called "Smallbox" (Odette pallflagga) is not printed in this procedure.

Managing Windows

The window of this procedure consists of two parts. In the left portion of the window, you can select the printout by entering an interval of order numbers, customer codes, delivery note numbers, current delivery period or part numbers. If you leave these fields empty, the system will print transport labels for all the orders that have been partially delivered or delivered in full.

You can use the Preliminary selection in the Window functions, to open the right portion of the window. You can uncheck the print box if you do not want to print transport labels. In this mode, you can also choose to Preview the printout.
