The Agent Server is a program used along with the supplement MONITOR Agent and is included in MONITOR. The Agent Server is usually registered and run on the MONITOR database server but it can also be run on a MONITOR client computer or terminal server which has a MONITOR client installed. The program runs constantly and handles monitoring tasks that are saved in the Monitoring Tasks procedure. When the Agent Server's monitoring detects that the terms/conditions are fulfilled, it notifies the affected personnel according to the settings for the assignment.
