General Information about Historical Inventory Movements

You will find a general description of how to manage lists in MONITOR in the chapter Managing Lists in the System under General in the MONITOR Basics guide.

What Does This Procedure Do?

Under the Create tab you can print a historical register over transactions that have taken place in your inventory. This register creates a log for all the inventory movement transactions, as well as those that affect the stock balance. This procedure can then be used to study the history of these inventory movements. The log saves the following transaction data: Part number; Date and time; User; Location; Procedure; Order number; Balance changes; and Current balance after these changes.

By using different classification and selection options, you can perform different types of analyses. You can also obtain statistics over consumption and arrivals for a period, by selecting the transaction totals.

You can choose different list types, Log, Totals of different periods for statistical analysis purposes or Only total where you can load a value list of consumption and arrivals. The list types are described in more detail under Printout samples.

What Update Options Exist for this Procedure?

There are no update options in this procedure.

Can Any Charts Be Displayed?

The list type Log contains a chart showing the current balance per date for each part within the selected date interval.
