General Information about Change Stock Location in List

You will find a general description of how to manage lists in MONITOR in the chapter Managing Lists in the System under General in the MONITOR Basics guide.

Why Use This Procedure?

Here you can register changing stock location names for several parts and several locations at the same time, in a list. If this requires several different registrations, this procedure makes it easy to load all the parts that you want to rename stock locations for in a list, and then register it in the list.

However, if you are only going to change locations for a few individual parts, it is faster to use the Change Stock Location procedure. There you change locations per part.

Under the Create tab you can make different selections of parts for the list you will load. You can also choose which part types you want to include in the list.

Also see a printout sample of the list with comments. However, no printouts are normally made in this procedure. The list is intended to only be used to register stock location name changes that you make for many parts at the same time.

What Update Options Exist for this Procedure?

You can rename the stock locations for the parts that have been loaded.

Can Any Charts Be Displayed?

There are no charts or graphs available in this procedure.
