For customer or supplier nonconformities, you can enter external comments for the nonconformities in the Comment box using this button. For supplier nonconformities, this is entered when registering the nonconformity, and it is printed on the Claim report document that can be sent to the supplier. For customer nonconformities, this is entered when responding to the customer regarding preventive actions. It is then printed in the external document Preventive Action Response.
If you have installed the supplementary function Document Viewing, you can use it to link external documents to the report. Documents are linked by using the Document Viewer button. You should also read the Entering Comments or Instructions in the chapter called MONITOR General Information in the MONITOR Basics guide to better understanding of this window.
Standardized external comments for nonconformities that will be included in the nonconformity documents sent to customers or suppliers can be entered under the Default values tab in the Register Basic Data procedure.
AutoPrint
If AutoPrint is selected, the linked document can be printed when printing the document Response as regards customer nonconformity. As regards supplier nonconformity the AutoPrint of linked documents can be used for the document Claim Report. AutoPrint also functions when the documents are sent by e-mail.
