Below you will find a brief description of the procedures that can be found under the MONITOR Agent menu in the Global Settings module.
Here you register, in the form of sequences, tasks that consist of different lists that should be printed. Each sequence can contain several parts and you can register several sequences. Each sequence has a start and a stop of the MONITOR program and in between there is the execution of a number of procedures and the processing of the result of these AutoRuns. When using Scheduled tasks you can activate these sequences at different times.
Here you register the tasks, in the form of an SQL question, that the agent server should monitor. In the Info menu in certain procedures, such as Register Purchase Order, there are direct links to pre-defined tasks. These links creates the task and all the user needs to do is to decide how the result should be presented, to whom and also how often the condition in the task should be checked. When the condition has been satisfied the result will be presented is the selected way and the task will be completed. Most list procedures also have pre-defined tasks. These tasks can then be based on that as long as the list does not contain any data, the condition is not satisfied.
Among the options of how to present the results of AutoRuns and monitoring task there are alternatives in which you present these in a so called result database. Via the Agent Results procedure a user can see the results that are create with the user as the receiver. In the status bar in MONITOR you can also see an icon if there are messages in the result database and by double-clicking on this icon you open the procedure where it is possible to view the messages.
Via this procedure you can create a list of the monitoring tasks. There are different alternatives for which tasks to show. It is also possible to change the task's status in this list.
