General Information about Selection List Extra Info

Why Use This Procedure?

The Selection List Extra Info procedure consists of a table in which you can register text alternatives that will be available in selection lists (drop-down menus) in the text fields under any of the Extra info tabs in the Update Part, Update Customer, Update Supplier, Register Project and Register Nonconformity procedures.

These tabs are activated via the settings Show Extra Info Tab in... in the Settings procedure.

In order for the text alternatives to be available in a selection list in a text field under any of the Extra info tabs, the ID for the text alternatives must be added by using "advanced properties" in the destined text field, tab and procedure. These advanced properties in fields are saved in a profile in the Property Management.

To be able to use the advanced properties in fields, MONITOR must be configured into "debug mode". To be able to use selection lists in text fields under the Extra info tabs in the procedures above, please contact an instructor or consultant at Monitor ERP System AB for help.
