General Information about Purchase Statistics - Suppliers

You will find a general description of how to manage lists in MONITOR in the chapter Managing Lists in the System under General in the MONITOR Basics guide.

What Does This Procedure Do?

From the Create tab in the Purchase Statistics - Suppliers procedure you can print purchase statistics per supplier. Consequently, only row types 1-3 are included in the printout. You can also choose to include suppliers that have no purchase statistics when you print.

In order to see the total purchase statistics per part, which is only row type 1, you should use the Purchase Statistics - Parts procedure instead.

There are different list types to choose from containing different information for each type. The available list types are: Standard, Only total / year, and Only total. You can select if you want to show the supplier's budget in the list. Read more about these list types under printout samples.

What are Purchase Statistics?

You can create purchase statistics (or purchasing statistics) on two occasions in MONITOR: either during arrival reporting using the Arrival Reporting procedure, or when linking arrival reported orders to a supplier invoice in the Register Supplier Invoice procedure. This is determined by the setting Create supplier invoice basis during Arrival Reporting?, under the Purchase tab in the Settings procedure.

The system will then calculate all the purchase statistics and load it from the supplier invoice log. You can also create purchase statistics in the Purchase Statistics - Parts procedure, as well as purchase statistics in the Service Statistics procedure in the Sales module.

The equivalent sales statistics are created in the Invoicing Log during invoicing.

What Update Options Exist for this Procedure?

There are no update options in this procedure.

Can Any Charts Be Displayed?

Under the Display List tab, you can view a chart of the list if you have selected the list type Only total.
