You will find a general description of how to manage lists in MONITOR in the chapter Managing Lists in the System under General in the MONITOR Basics guide.
What Does This Procedure Do?
The Purchase Statistics – Parts procedure is used to print purchase statistics per part. Consequently, it only includes row type 1 in the printout. In order to see the total purchase statistics for row types 1-3, you should use the Purchase Statistics - Suppliers procedure instead.
There are different list types to choose from containing different information for each type. The available list types are: Standard, Only total / year, and Only total.
You can choose whether or not to show the parts' budgets in the list.
Read more about these list types under printout samples.
You can select the information by the following alternatives: Year month, Part number, Name, Part code, Product group, and Part category.
What are Purchase Statistics?
You can create purchase (or purchasing) statistics on two occasions in MONITOR: either during arrival reporting using the Arrival Reporting procedure, or when linking arrival reported orders to a supplier invoice in the Register Supplier Invoice procedure. This is determined by the setting Create supplier invoice basis during Arrival Reporting? under the Accounts Payable heading under the Purchase tab in the Settings procedure.
The system will then calculate all the purchase statistics and load it from the supplier invoice log. You can also create purchase statistics in the Purchase Statistics - Suppliers procedure, as well as purchase statistics concerning purchased services in the Service Statistics procedure in the Sales module.
The equivalent sales statistics are created in the Invoicing Log during invoicing.
What Update Options Exist for this Procedure?
There are no update options in any of the list types.
Can Any Charts Be Displayed?
In the Display List mode, you can view a chart of the list if you have selected the list type Only total.
