Under the Create tab you can select different alternatives before you run a simulation. This tab is used for "customer inquiries", that is when no customer order is used as a basis for the CDT run.
Here you can select to check for available loading and/or material and tools. You select this under the Check heading. Under the heading Calculate with you can select how to calculate each type of check.
Under Order types, you select if you want to run the CDT using manufacturing order rows or customer order rows. If you select manufacturing order rows you can select whether or not to explode incorporated M-parts.
Under Consider..., you can choose to take sales forecasts into consideration.
The Create tab has two sub-tabs called Own and Others. These tabs are activated when the CDT is opened from the procedure menu. Under the Own tab you select the part(s) you wish to simulate, and also the quantity and period. Under the Others tab you can see saved simulations made by others. However, you cannot edit anything under this tab.
A sub-tab called Temporary is shown when the CDT is loaded from a customer order row or a manufacturing order row. Then the part information is filled in and the simulation starts automatically with the default alternatives. After that you may select other alternatives and run the simulation again. In this case, the sub-tabs Own and Others are inactive
After the run is made, the Check Delivery Times tab opens and shows the result of the simulation. If errors occur during the simulation, these are shown under the Warnings tab. If not, this tab is inactive.
