General Information about Activity Reporting - Project

You will find a general description of how to manage lists in MONITOR in the chapter Managing Lists in the System under General in the MONITOR Basics guide.

Why Use This Procedure?

This procedure is used to report project activities in a list. Here you can report/update status, comments, who performed the reporting and reporting date. Reporting items made in this procedure is the same as in the Register Project procedure, but it can be useful and rational to report many activities at the same time in an updateable list.

The user who is reporting the activity can only see the activities in the list that he or she is authorized or "Responsible" to report.

The information is determined by different classification and selection alternatives under the Create tab. You can select activities by Planned date, Project number, Activity and Activity status.

Please see the list description in the printout samples.

What Update Options Exist for this Procedure?

The information that can be updated for activities includes status, comments, who reported it and the report date.

User/group with complete user rights in Activity Reporting - Project

If a certain user has complete user rights in a procedure, the user can also report activities performed by other users. This can be useful for example if there is one person who administrates, collects and enters time reports afterwards for different employees. To enable for the user/group to have complete rights the user/group must be selected in the setting User/group with complete user rights in Activity Reporting - Project under Project Accounting under the Accounting tab in the Settings procedure.

Can Any Charts Be Displayed?

There are no charts or graphs available in this procedure.
