Basic EDI Settings
The following chapter will describe the different basic settings for using EDI in MONITOR. Before you can start using EDI, you must configure a number of basic settings in certain procedures.
- You must configure a number of settings in the Settings procedure.
- You must configure settings for each customer or supplier with whom you intend to communicate using EDI.
- You must configure connections for import and export files that will be used by the EDI bridge, and by MEDI during import and export of EDI messages.
- Possibly, you might need to create a scheduled task in order to run MEDI in accordance with a time interval.
