The Service Tab

In the section Service object you will find information about the serial number selected in the Serial number field on the heading row.

In the Planning section you select service type. A service location is always suggested based on the service type, but this can be changed. In this section you also enter the date and time when the service shall be performed as well as the planned time used. You select the service technician/service technicians you want to perform the service. You can also enter priority, service category as well as internal and external comments.

In the section Nonconformity you can create a new customer nonconformity based on the service order or link an existing nonconformity.

In the section Service plan you will see if the product/customer is included in a service plan in force. You can choose to generate the service order according to that plan.

Based on the selected service type, different cost types are suggested in the section Costs. These will be used when invoicing the service. However, the cost types can be changed on the order.

In the section External executor you can for example see who will perform the service when the service is performed by an external supplier contracted by us. You can also check a box if you want to create a purchase order to the supplier that will perform the service.

In the section Performed work you can see the actual time used and the actual finish date. You can also enter a text regarding the actual service performance. This information can be sent as an MMS message.
